Hey Mississippi County, have you ever been interested in grafting your own fruit trees? If so, Crittenden County Ag Extension Service is hosting an Apple grafting class. which you can learn a lot about growing Apples in Arkansas. Space is limited and spots will fill up quickly. Please call the Crittenden County Ag Extension Service office to sign up and pay the class fee of $20.00

ATTENTION!! Below I am sharing the information on the abandoned pesticide disposal program. Please if you have not gotten a chance go and register, so they will know how many trucks they need to bring. 

The Abandoned Pesticide Disposal Program will host a joint pesticide collection event for Cross & Crittenden Counties on March 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Smokey Alley Grain Bins located at 502 Hwy 118N, Earle, AR 72331.

Participants may scan the QR code on the flyer to register online or complete the inventory form and return it to the Cross County or Crittenden County Extension Office.

Completed pre-registration forms are critical to help coordinate proper transportation and disposal of pesticide waste and will be collected after the inventory deadline. Inventory forms will be at the Cross County office for those needing a copy.
