This Titans Day of Giving, meet Brendan Max, a finance and economics graduate of UW Oshkosh whose journey was shaped by the support of donors through scholarships from the School of Business.
For Brendan, that support meant more than covered tuition β it meant the freedom to fully focus on his studies. It gave him the space to see that the hard work he was putting in the classroom was paying off, both academically and financially.
But beyond the financial support, this scholarship carries something deeper for him. It reflects the experience he had at UWO, especially within the finance and economics departments β and it gave him the confidence to pursue competitive internship and post-graduation opportunities. "It allowed me to go about my studies with the utmost confidence," he says.
That confidence has carried him forward. As a UWO grad now working as an Investment Banking Analyst, Brendan credits these scholarships with playing a real role in that transition β proof that the standards he held himself to in school continue to pay off in his career.
Stories like Brendan's are exactly why Titans Day of Giving matters β every gift helps a Titan believe a little more in what they're capable of.
