So proud of our PAGE Master of Public Administration alumni - It's amazing to see what our alumni can achieve!

From the classroom to Deputy Mayor — Joseph Stephenson ’15, ’20 (Urban & Regional Planning, MPA) is redefining what’s possible for Wisconsin communities. Congratulations to one of this year’s Outstanding Young Alumni recipients!

Joseph is an emerging leader in housing policy and economic development. He led the redesign of the award-winning SPARC program, created Menasha’s Strong Neighborhoods Program (leveraging nearly $1M in housing investment), and was appointed by the Governor to the WHEDA Board — all while serving as Deputy Mayor of Oshkosh.

Joseph credits UWO’s MPA program and strong sense of community with preparing him to step directly into public service.

Congratulations, Joseph. Thank you for investing in this community, and for showing what’s possible when you stay close to home.
