The Career Services Team has had a busy but rewarding June! The crew spent the first week in June at the SUNY Career Development Organization's 50th Annual Conference in Clayton, NY!
The office also came home with an award for "Excellence in Innovation", which is given in recognition of programming that demonstrates new, creative, and successful use of technology or other resources! (See photo 1)
Members also presented at the conference on "Scaling the Career Ecosystem: A Multi-Layered Approach to AI and Career Readiness" (photos 2-4).
Throughout the year, our team was also participating in many ways to support the organization, from conference committees, including marketing, emeritus (photo 5), raffle (photos 6, 7), which raised $2,145 for Northern NY Community Foundation's Next Step Education Program, and serving on the board.
Involvement in clubs/orgs is not just for students! It's an amazing way to contribute to your professional and local community while growing professionally and building your network!
