Meet the Radiologic Technology Class of 2026–2028! ☢️🩻

Well…minus one soccer player who is off representing IHCC this week! ⚽️😊

We’ve had a great first week with this group, and they already seem like a great bunch of young people. We’re excited to see what the next two years have in store for them!

And did anyone else notice…we have FIVE young men in the program this year! 🙌 Yay!! We love seeing more guys choosing Radiologic Technology!

They have a lot of learning, growing, new experiences and probably a few challenges ahead of them, but we’re excited to be along for the ride. Welcome to Radiology, Class of 2028! 🩻💙

🎓 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT — LAST ONE! 🎓

She made us wait for it 😂…but we’re officially wrapping up our Student Spotlights with Peyton Seuferer, RT(R) from Pleasantville, Iowa!

🩻 Why Radiologic Technology?
Peyton knew she wanted to work in healthcare but wasn’t quite sure where she belonged. After doing a few job shadows, she discovered X-ray—and knew she had found exactly what she wanted to do.

💙 Why Indian Hills?
After visiting campus, Indian Hills immediately felt like the right fit. Everyone was welcoming, and after hearing so many great things about the program, she knew IHCC was where she wanted to be.

• Iowa Ortho – Ankeny

❤️ Favorite Part of the Program:
Meeting so many new people and becoming close with her classmates. Peyton says the program brought her some of her closest friends!

Peyton will be working in X-ray at Iowa Radiology in Des Moines!

And with that…our final Student Spotlight is FINALLY posted. 😂 We’re officially closing the book on this amazing group of graduates. What a class—and what an accomplishment with a 100% first-time ARRT board pass rate! 🥳

For many students, entering the healthcare field is a professional choice. For Kennedy Pearson, a proud graduate of our program in 2021, it was a deeply personal calling. 💕

Driven by her mom’s battle of breast cancer, Kennedy entered our program with a clear heartfelt mission. 🌸

Since graduating, Kennedy has worked at various facilities performing x-ray, CT and mammography. She is currently employed at Iowa Radiology where she has been able to provide screening, diagnostic, and the latest advancement in breast imaging, contrast enhanced mammograms. She has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to incorporate her CT knowledge with her mammography experience! 💖

Kennedy strives to help ease her patient’s fears during difficult and vulnerable times. 🫂

We are incredibly proud to watch our graduates take the skills learned in our program and turn them into a meaningful and positive experience for patients. 🙌

Kennedy embodies the very best of our Radiology program, along with so many of our past graduates!🎓

🎓 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT | AVREY BOYER, RT(R) 🎓

We’ve already celebrated the exciting news that Avrey passed her ARRT board exam, but now it’s time to officially put the spotlight on her! 🌟

📍 Hometown: Burlington, Iowa

Avrey knew she wanted a career in healthcare where she could help people without becoming a nurse. Radiologic Technology turned out to be the perfect fit—giving her the opportunity to care for patients throughout the day while opening the door to so many different imaging modalities.

When it came to choosing Indian Hills, Avrey said the decision was an easy one. Everyone she talked to highly recommended IHCC, and she quickly saw why our Radiologic Technology program has such a strong reputation. ❤️🩻

❤️ Favorite Part of the Program:
The people and friendships she made along the way. Avrey says she made some of her best friends during X-ray school and couldn’t have made it through without them!

✨ What’s Next?
Avrey is heading straight into the modality she loves! She’ll be starting a full-time MRI position at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
