My last fall semester clean-up is off my to-do-list! WHOOP! Now we have an understanding of all our equipment, tools and toys! My thanks to Chef Steve Venne at SMSD for the genius idea of hanging the silicone sheet molds!

Again, a quick reminder that moving forward the weekly bake sales will start Sept. 11th 3-530pm, YES>>>THAT IS A FRIDAY! Because of substantial changes on all our programs, we had to move the Pastry Baking Certificate Program back to a Thursday/Friday schedule. From Sept. 11th and into the far future, bake sales will move to Fridays. I'll have a Summer Production Menu ready to publish shortly. Be on the lookout for it! In the meantime, enjoy the new pastry/baking art that was hung in the bake shop for the new semester!

Just a quick reminder for our patrons, we're moving the bake sale back to Fridays, 3pm - 530pm, starting 09/11/2026. This is a result of large changes in the programs here at the WHCA. Moving the bake sale allowed us to schedule Wednesday's for additional pastry/baking classes. Feel free to pass this announcement along to others.

OH>>> and I'm working with JCCC Marketing/Graphic Design department to develope a new logo for 12 Dames & One Dude Bakery. You'll see a few changes to the bake shop come Sept. 11, 2026!

Happiness is a clean, organized and mobile bake shop! Thanks to our facilities manager, Man Ho and his assistant Mager, our storage racks now have wheels installed on them! I am elated! We’re ready for the summer session of HMGT 180 Fundamentals of Baking and our fall roster of M-F pastry baking courses!
