The first meeting of the Volunteer Club of OCTC was held this afternoon (9/2/26). The club elected its President, Vice President and Secretaries. Student Volunteers were briefed about the history, benefits, the organizational structure, and functioning of the Volunteer Club, and the important role that the club plays in promoting volunteerism and community service both on the OCTC campus and in the local Owensboro community.
Guest speakers, Ms. Hailey de la Cruz, the Community Engagement Specialist and Ms. Mallory Leucht, the Volunteer Coordinator of Wendell Foster shared information regarding various volunteering opportunities available for our student volunteers in their organization. We thank all the attendees. Some pictures from today's event are posted below.
