Kentucky Wesleyan Theatre Arts Program will host the Cambridge University American Stage Tour from the United Kingdom for a production of Shakespeare's King Lear on Thursday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m. The two-hour play will be held at the Jack T. Wells '77 Activity Center.

The group will also host a workshop in partnership with Kentucky Wesleyan on Wednesday, September 9, at 4:00 p.m. in the Tapscott Chapel. Participants will learn about Shakespeare, King Lear, and have the opportunity to ask the visiting Cambridge students questions regarding their experiences. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Before our newest Panthers even started classes, they started building 🔨

Saturday's build-a-bed event brought 20 new beds to local elementary students, part of a program that's now served 257 kids over nine years. Huge thanks to Kentucky Wesleyan College: Campus Ministries, Engage KY, Good Samaritan Ministries, and our incredible volunteers for making it possible.

Representatives of the Raymond B. Preston Family Foundation, Andrea Payne and Brianna Cessna, visited Kentucky Wesleyan College this week to tour campus and present a gift establishing the Preston Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship.

Reflecting the Foundation’s belief that education has the power to transform lives, foster good citizenship, and strengthen communities, the endowment underscores its commitment to creating opportunities that enrich the human experience and help individuals become self-sufficient, productive, and responsible citizens. Proceeds from the endowment will provide scholarships for Kentucky Wesleyan students from Henderson County.
