Makaria Martin is a Leadership Scholar who is graduating! “I would like to thank God, my family, and Stevenson for helping me to achieve this significant milestone! A biblical scripture that I hold dearly to my heart is: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. My name is Cara DeSantis and I joined the first cohort of leadership scholars in the fall of 2017. I will be graduating magna cm laude with a bachelor of science degree in Digital Marketing. I have grown so much throughout my college years and Stevenson has provided me with so many opportunities. I joined the McCormick & Company summer internship program in 2020. This then turned into a part-time IT contracting position throughout my senior year and a full-time Business Analyst position upon graduation. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of the Leadership Scholars program and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Go Mustangs! 👏👏👏🌸🌺🌸

Isabella Maxey is from the first cohort of Leadership Scholars and will be graduating magna cm laude with a degree in Business Communication. During her time at Stevenson, she was able to obtain four prestigious internships in marketing and extended her leadership role on campus as a resident assistant. Outside of the classroom and office, she often performed at campus events with her original music. She is grateful to have had so many leadership experiences while at Stevenson, and promises they won’t be her last. ❤️❤️🌻❤️🌻👏👏.maxey
