As we begin this new sorority year, let’s continue to carry our light, our legacy, and our love forward together. This year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated encourages a focus on service, growth and excellence.

After a summer filled with retreats and leadership workshops, it’s time to raise the bar, deepen our impact, and continue to honor the legacy of our Founders by doing the work with purpose and Zeta pride.

On behalf of the International Board of Directors and the entire sisterhood of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, I extend heartfelt condolences to Zeta Crystal Dove Sarah F. Bivins; Soror Cheryl A. B. Christie; Soror Angela Cousin; Soror Patricia Felton; Soror Cannesta Felton; the Sorors of Beta Delta Zeta Chapter; the Atlantic Region; and all who loved, respected, learned from, and were influenced by Triumphant Soror Bivins.

There are Sorors whose service is remembered.

There are Sorors whose leadership is studied.

And there are Sorors whose names become part of the institutional memory of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Triumphant Soror Bivins is among them.

We honor the attorney.

We honor the trailblazer.

We honor the leader.

And with particular reverence, we honor the woman who once sat at the helm of our International Board of Directors and helped steward this sisterhood forward.

Her chair is now part of our history.

Her leadership remains part of our foundation
and her legacy belongs to Zeta forever.

In Loving Memory of Soror Christine Ferguson 💙🤍🕊️

We extend our heartfelt love, prayers, and deepest condolences to the Iota Chi Zeta Chapter and Eta Beta Chapter on the passing of our beloved Soror Christine Ferguson.

Soror Ferguson was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated through the Eta Beta Chapter at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the Fall of 1989. She later continued her journey of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood as a member of the Iota Chi Zeta Chapter.

As Finer Women, we know equality is not a quiet request. It is a call to lead boldly, serve fiercely, and keep pressing forward until every woman has the freedom, access, and opportunity she deserves.

So today, dress your crown. Wear your power. Strut in your essence. Stand in the legacy of the women who opened to doors, and keep building new ones for those coming behind us.

The legacy of Past International Centennial President, Valerie Hollingsworth Baker is packed with memorable milestones!

Living up to her well-known mantra of MISSION POSSIBLE, she instituted the Arizona Cleaver Stemons Founder Emeritus scholarship, which was an $100,000 award given to a deserving female high school graduate pursuing a college education.

Celebrating all the trails she has blazed, we also acknowledge her accomplishments in increasing global expansion in the British Virgin Islands, and in Liberia and Ghana in West Africa, and the strategic partnerships she procured with Geico, Dell, Google, New Balance Athletics Wear/Jairus Group, St. John Knits International, Inc., Goldman Sachs, Micha’s Voice, and NCNW (Good Health Wins).
