It is with heartfelt sympathy that the State of Maryland extends our deepest condolences to the Sorors of Alpha Zeta Chapter and the family and loved ones of our beloved Triumphant Soror Devora Whiting.

As we honor her life, legacy, and devotion to our illustrious Sisterhood, we ask that you keep her family, chapter Sorors, and all who cherished her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mental Health is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our strength and resilience. World Mental Health Day is our way of recognizing and understanding that caring for our mental health and emotional well-being is just as crucial as our physical health.

Today, be intentional about checking on your loved ones - including your friends.

There’s not a certain ‘look’ - Just be kind. Encourage open conversations. Lend a listening ear, offer a hug or give someone a word of support, as they may be struggling in silence.
