Campus has begun waking up as students return, particularly these past couple days with Passport Bootcamp kicking off, designed to support a smooth and successful transition from high school to college for incoming Passport Scholars.

Along with presentations, opportunities to interact with faculty and staff, and acclimating to campus, Passport students also participate in team-building exercises like the marshmallow challenge where they're given 20 pieces of spaghetti along with one yard of tape and are asked to make the tallest free-standing structure that can support a marshmallow on top of it in 18 minutes.

Nine of the 22 incoming Class of 2030 Presidential Fellows are planning to pursue a Farmer School of Business major or co-major. These students will receive the Presidential Fellows scholarship from the Honors College, the university’s premier opportunity for top scholars.

Eight of the incoming Farmer students hail from seven different states, with one hailing from Mongolia. We can't wait to watch them flourish this coming semester.
