MU American Sign Language Club

MU American Sign Language Club This is a club about Miami University whose goal is to learn more about Deaf culture & American Sign Language. No experience is necessary! We will teach you!

If you do not know sign language, do not worry! We have monthly meetings where the members get together and learn new signs. At the beginning of the year we will start with the basics like finger spelling and greetings, and from there we usually have different themes for each meeting and will teach signs relating to the theme. We will also discuss upcoming volunteering and organization events at t

hese meetings. There will be social events like game nights and group silent dinners. We will also host larger events involving the whole campus to raise Deaf Culture awareness. President: Kate Randall
