🎭 National recognition for Miami University Department of Theatre!

A recent analysis of U.S. Department of Education earnings data ranked Miami University among the top 10 Drama, Theatre Arts, and Stagecraft programs in the nation for graduate earnings outcomes.

The study found that graduates from these top programs earn at least $15,000 more than the median high school graduate in their state just four years after completing college.

This recognition reflects the power of a theatre education—one that builds creativity, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills that translate into meaningful career success.

Congratulations to our students, alumni, faculty, and staff whose passion and dedication continue to demonstrate the value of the arts.

From stage to script, Joseph Sheridan is turning creativity into a career. A graduate of Miami University, Joseph now works as a Stage Manager and Playwright, using the interdisciplinary skills he built through Arts Management and Theatre.
His experience shows how taking initiative and embracing creativity can open unexpected doors.
