Illinois College of Nursing Throughout the PN program at ICON, each student will receive the knowledge and skills needed to successfully work in a healthcare setting as a practical nurse.

14 Month Practical Nursing Program

The Practical Nursing (PN) program offered at ICON takes approximate

ly one year to complete and is the fastest and most effective way for you to begin your nursing career. This program incorporates comprehensive nursing theory and hands-on clinical externships to give each student an invaluable educational experience. Upon completion of the PN program students will receive a graduation certificate and are eligible to take the State of Illinois practical nursing exam (NCLEX-PN) to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
