After being closed because of electrical issues Friday, we are open for regular hours, services and classes on Monday, August 31. Power was lost Thursday night, a situation which impacted the adjacent neighborhood and Seminole Landing. Unfortunately, as part of this outage, a power surge went through our campus and destroyed a number of items, including four transformers, equipment for the chillers for the air, some televisions, and many surge protectors. This was a very unusual situation. We were able to resolve many of these issues because IT and facilities in PC and Tallahassee, along with outside contractors worked all weekend to get the campus ready to open Monday.
