Congratulations to Danny Siciliano, recipient of the 2027 UNLV Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award! 🏆

For more than a decade, Danny has brought creativity and care to teaching accounting at Lee. From his tradition of student-designed first-day class photos to assignments that have students “budget” for their own grades, he keeps finding ways to get students involved in their learning.

He brings a creative, collaborative style and genuine kindness to his work with students and colleagues.

Danny has also been named UNLV’s nominee for the 2027 Nevada Regents’ Teaching Award in the non-tenured/non-tenure-track faculty category. The recipient will be announced in March 2027.

A well-earned honor for years of dedication.

The Lee Thought Leader Speaker Series is back.

Len Jessup joined Lee Business School for a conversation on entrepreneurship,innovation, and what it means to lead with a founder’s mindset.

His message: entrepreneurship is not only about starting something new. It is about creativity, resilience, adaptability, empathy, and seeing opportunity where others may not.

A fractured hand interrupted her Olympic bid. Since then, Krishna Jayasankar Menon has broken India’s indoor shot put record, earned NCAA All-American honors and won a national title.

The 2025 Lee Business School graduate is also exploring entrepreneurship, with support from mentor Diana Bennett through Rebels EmpowHER. Her goal? An agency helping international student-athletes and their families navigate opportunities in the U.S.

And yes, the 2028 Olympics are still on her list.

A major milestone for UNLV Finance. 🎉📈

The B.S. in Business Administration, Finance at Lee Business School is now a CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

The designation recognizes the program’s alignment with key areas of the CFA Program curriculum and builds on UNLV Finance’s commitment to preparing students for careers in finance, investments and portfolio management.

It also opens the door to additional CFA Institute resources and scholarship opportunities for our students.

Congratulations to our Department of Finance faculty and everyone who helped make it happen. 👏

Meet Christina Schlazer, ’12 MS Health Sciences and ’16 MBA, our 2026 Lee Business School Alumna of the Year.

Christina has built a career at the intersection of science and business, from leading sales and business development at Sable Systems International to becoming a co-owner of The NOW Massage in Las Vegas.

And she continues to give back, mentoring students, serving on advisory boards, and returning to Lee Business School as a guest lecturer in the very course that helped inspire her MBA journey.

Congratulations, Christina! We’re proud to celebrate everything you’ve accomplished and the impact you continue to make. 🎉
