You can only absorb so much water at one time. Shoot for about 8 oz every 15 to 20 minutes and don't exceed 48 oz in an hour. Pre-hydrate if you know you can't avoid the heat the next day. You can loose faster than you can take in.

🚑 EMS Week 2026 – EMS Remembrance Day

Today we pause to remember and honor the EMS professionals who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Their courage, dedication, and commitment to serving others will never be forgotten. EMS Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the risks faced by first responders and to recognize those who gave their lives while caring for others.

As we close EMS Week 2026, we remember that “Improving Outcomes, Together” is made possible through the service and sacrifice of generations of EMS professionals.
Please join us in honoring their memory and supporting the families, coworkers, and communities they left behind.
