Healthcare Open House | Connecting Students to Healthcare Careers

Our Healthcare Open House on September 24 gave our La Paz County students an opportunity to explore, engage, and learn more about careers in healthcare.

We are especially grateful to Ken Grant, Associate Dean of Allied Health, and his team for joining us at the Parker Learning Center and spending time with our students. They shared valuable information about healthcare programs and career opportunities while giving students the chance to participate in an interactive demonstration.

Students were able to ask questions, explore their interests, and gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to them.

Thank you to Ken Grant and the Allied Health team for bringing their expertise and creating such an engaging experience for our students!

We’re proud to provide opportunities that help our students explore their interests, make connections, and take the next step toward their future careers.

Explore your possibilities. Connect with your future at the Parker Learning Center.

A Look Back at Recent Events at the Parker Learning Center! 🎉

We’ve had a lot going on at the Parker Learning Center to start off the Fall 2026 semester! From celebrating culture and community to getting hands-on with new activities, our students have had plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and have some fun along the way.

Plant Workshop: Students also got hands-on at our Plant Workshop, where they learned about plant care and planted a plant of their own to take home.

LoterĂa Night: We celebrated Mexican Independence Day with a night of LoterĂa, giving students a chance to enjoy a traditional game while connecting with fellow students and celebrating culture and community.

We’re glad to see our students getting involved and making the most of the opportunities happening at the Parker Learning Center.

There’s still plenty more to come this semester, so stay tuned!
