Run for Student Government during our 2021-2022 elections! There is a place for everyone in SGA. Our members serve on campus committees, advocate the student body's voice, plan campus events, oversee policies, and support other student organizations. Open positions include President, Vice President, Vice President of Communications, Vice President of Finance, Jackson County Center Vice President, and Senator.
Election Details
Candidates must fill out the SGA Candidate Application form by April 12 at https://forms.gle/vhCDbJo1HsAT2Mew8. Please note: You cannot be a candidate for more than one SGA elected office. The application also requires a 30-second video submission of why you want to be involved in SGA and/or why you are running for your position. Use the attached Filming To-Dos list to ensure a successful submission.
Executive Position Requirements
• Be a student enrolled at WVU Parkersburg.
• Be a student in good standing with the university.
• Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Senator Position Requirements
• Be a student enrolled at WVU Parkersburg.
• Be a student in good standing with the university.
• Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
