Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Eta Lambda Omega Chapter

09/09/2026

Eta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is inviting you to join us for GREENwell 2026 as we roll up our sleeves and give back to the community we call home.

To celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day, we’ll meet up at the Arroyo Seco for a morning of helping out and taking care of the shared spaces that connect and keep our community thriving. Making a difference isn’t always about big gestures; sometimes, it’s about small acts, right where we are, one neighborhood, one act of kindness, one community at a time.

Pasadena was alive with energy, and we loved being part of the celebration!

We were thrilled to join our community for Ques in the City and to support the men of Zeta Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

People from all over our city came together to enjoy the music, and connect for a good cause.

Congratulations on an incredible evening, and thank you for letting us be part of it!

For Eta Lambda Omega Chapter, giving back to Altadena is deeply personal.

The 2025 wildfires changed our community in ways we will never forget. Many of our members experienced the devastating loss of their homes, along with neighbors, friends, and families throughout Altadena. As our community continues the long journey of rebuilding, we remain committed to showing up with the same love and care that has always connected us to this community.

Our members proudly collaborated with Habitat for Humanity San Gabriel Valley to support rebuilding efforts and help restore our community.

Rebuilding Altadena is about more than just structures. It’s about restoring community, honoring what was lost, and standing together as we build toward what comes next.

Our love for Altadena runs deep and so does our commitment to its future. 💕💚

As summer begins to wind down and we prepare for the rhythm of a new season, it’s a good time to remember that caring for ourselves is just as important as caring for others.

Earlier this year, we came together for a restorative yoga experience centered on movement, mindfulness, and making space to simply breathe with Pasadena (CA) Alumni

As we transition into fall, we encourage our community to check in with your body, notice the stress you carry, and make time for practices that help you feel grounded and renewed. Even a few intentional moments can make a difference. 🧘🏽‍♀️✨

Here’s to a new season of greater balance, awareness, and intention.
