**Design a PCC Library Bookmark!**
In celebration of National Library Week (April 6-12), PCC Library invites you to enter our bookmark design contest!

HOW TO ENTER:
Entry forms are available at PCC Library and the Library’s website.
Create your own original artwork, reflecting this year’s theme, “Drawn to the Library.”
Return entry form to the Library's Circulation Desk by April 1, 2025 during open hours.

TERMS:
One entry per person; open to current PCC students, staff and faculty.
Trademarked, digital, and AI generated artwork will not be considered.
One winner from each category will be selected as the official PCC Library Bookmark
Late entries will not be accepted.
PCC Library will notify winners via email by April 9 and announced in post caption.
Do not provide personal information to unknown parties.
This contest in not sponsored by Facebook or its affiliates.

Words cannot describe how devastated we are for the unfathomable losses that have hit our community and other parts of LA county from the 2025 fires and windstorms. We stand with our community Pasadena/Altadena as we get through this together.

This event, which took place May 20, 1942 at Pasadena Junior College was meant as a demonstration of the physical fitness of America's youth in the upcoming fight against the Axis powers. The event included mass calisthenics, a parade of students in pioneer dress; a football drill, a boxing class demonstration, modern dance, apparatus and tumbling, safety and first aid demonstration, and track and field. 🗣 Major congratulations to PCC Library Technology instructor, Dr Raymond Pun for being elected as President of the American Library Association. 🎊🎊🎊🎊🌟🌟🌟🌟📚📚📚📚
After earning the majority votes in a national election, Dr Pun will serve in his role in 2025-2026. Dr Pun currently teaches LIB-104 Introduction to Library Technical Services.
