2014-2016. A lot of times, it’s not just lacrosse art. :)

A former UVA Men’s Lacrosse co-captain commissioned a series of home portraits as wedding presents for his other former co-captains/teammates.

One being a DC townhouse after college graduation, a starter-home in New Orleans and their college apartment in Charlottesville.

Continuing from a recent post honoring my friend, Alf Jacques (RIP) on this .

Here’s the custom art piece done for him, framed and hung up on his wall of his workshop on the Onondaga Nation territory.

There also three (3), classic images hung up. See if you can identify them in the two pics. :)

Continuing the throwback from our last post on a with Saint Edwards School and their Lady Pirates tees.

When doing research for the art I read about the famous female pirate Anne Bonny, which inspired me to add the historical elements along with the lacrosse theme.

On this it’s looking back at my time at The Poly Prep School in Brooklyn, NY running the defensive side of the lacrosse field. I think this was back in 2008? :)

Throwing it back to this article from 2024. I think of this quite often and only hope that it helps and inspires.

What I learned from lonely wall-ball sessions, while growing up in NYC.
