Due to the amount of interest in attendance, there has been a location change for this event! This talk will now be held in James A Thomas Hall Upchurch Auditorium. Dr. Arlinda F. Locklear is a nationally known attorney and advocate for Native American tribes. She has practiced Federal Indian Law for her entire career and represented the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina in their fight for full federal recognition for more than forty years. Join us on February 12th at 6:30 pm in Thomas Hall auditorium, where Dr. Locklear will discuss the federal recognition of the Lumbee Tribe and what’s next. This talk is open to all who would like to attend.
