For 10 consecutive years, Florida has been recognized as the #1 state for higher education by U.S. News & World Report.

To celebrate this milestone, we are celebrating with State University System of Florida - Board of Governors to launch the Florida 10 for 10 scholarship initiative, giving students the opportunity to share why they chose their university for a chance to receive one of ten $1,000 scholarship awards for Spring 2027.

🎓💙 Prepare for Success with the Argos Autism Program Early Arrival Experience at UWF! 💙🎓

Starting college is a major milestone, and the Argos Autism Program (AAP) at the University of West Florida is here to help make that transition smoother through the AAP Early Arrival Program!

Hosted by the UWF Behavior Lab, the Early Arrival Program is designed for incoming UWF students with autism who are enrolled for the Fall semester. Through a combination of virtual and in-person opportunities, students gain valuable tools, resources, and connections before classes begin.

Whether you are a first-time college student, a transfer student, attending classes on campus, or learning remotely, Early Arrival helps students become familiar with university life while building friendships and confidence before the semester starts.

📚 Topics Include:
✔️ University Life
✔️ Academic Strategies
✔️ Social Skills
✔️ Career Readiness

Students will also have the opportunity to:
🔹 Learn about life as a UWF Argo
🔹 Meet peers in the Argos Autism Program
🔹 Explore campus resources and support services
🔹 Practice skills for a successful college transition

📅 Early Arrival takes place each August.
✅ Students must be accepted to UWF and enrolled for the Fall semester to participate.

The Argos Autism Program is a free support program that helps students connect, thrive, and succeed throughout their college journey.
