Peoria MedPeds The largest Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program in the state of Illinois. Peoria MedPeds is training with heart. In the heart of Illinois.

Discover what Peoria MedPeds has to offer! Established in 1981, we have a long tradition of providing exceptional combined training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Our residency program brings together the resources of the University of Illinois College of Medicine with OSF St. Francis Medical Center. With 8 residents in each intern class, our program is also one of the largest in the country--and remains the largest in the state of Illinois. Despite our size, we remain a close-knit community with down-to-earth faculty.

ICYMI: Last night, Peoria MedPeds hosted our annual Switch Dinner. During a time of fellowship and food, residents and faculty shared tips on switching from Medicine to Pediatrics (and vice versa) -- as well as insights on how to be a successful senior resident for our rising "superterns." The First Switch is soon upon us--and our residents will do amazing in their new environments and roles!
