Happy first day of classes, Arrows!

Today kicked off Arrows Fest, a weeklong celebration of fun student programming, and we also recognized Women's Equality Day.

Students enjoyed Seven Brew drinks in Pilla and connected with the Women's Center to discuss women's equity issues and learn about upcoming programs and engagement opportunities.

President Dr. Walter Iwanenko and our Chief Campus Officer Kathy LaFontana were spotted joining in the festive spirit.

As is custom at the start of a new academic year, our faculty and staff gathered for Building Community Day! Based in the tradition of St. Angela, we met new colleagues, shared breakfast together, and heard an update from President Walter Iwanenko.

We were also treated to the unveiling of the Ursuline Charism Quilt, a collaborative project in which faculty and staff wrote a word representing the aspect of the Ursuline charism they desire to hold on to and plant seeds of as we move into the future. The leaves were then sewn onto the tree as a representation of our collective commitment to being charism-carriers. Thank you to alum and faculty member Jennifer Schwartz for her beautiful work!
