This spring, WCTC carpentry students stepped outside the classroom and into local parks through a new service-learning initiative called “Tour de Parks.”

Working alongside instructor Brandon Angove and the City of Pewaukee, students completed projects including painting, drywall repair, demolition work, soffit and fascia updates, and more at Simmons Woods Park, Springdale Park and other community facilities.

Beyond improving local spaces for families to enjoy this summer, the experience gave students valuable hands-on learning at active job sites, helping them build confidence, teamwork and real-world skills before entering the workforce.

Community Smiles Dental - Wisconsin is excited to announce a major renovation of its Waukesha clinic.

To ensure care continues without interruption during construction (June 1 - July 31), Community Smiles Dental will temporarily relocate services to the WCTC Dental Hygiene Clinic.

This partnership highlights a strong, long-standing relationship between CSD and WCTC that has supported student learning and community care for more than 10 years.

WCTC will host the clinic during this time, ensuring patients continue receiving trusted, high-quality care.
