From the classroom to business ownership! 🧁✨

Meet WCTC alumna Jessica Reinhardtsen, whose journey is a great example of where hands-on learning and following your passion can lead.

After earning associate degrees in Interior Design and Baking and Pastry Management, Jessica turned her love for creativity into a business of her own, opening Greige Pâtisserie, a French-inspired bakery in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood.

Today, she’s not only creating delicious pastries and custom cakes but also giving back to WCTC by sharing her experience with students and helping inspire the next generation of bakers.

Through guaranteed admissions pathways, articulation agreements, joint data science involvements and more, our institutions are dedicated to providing the area with a strong workforce!

Dr. Rich Barnhouse, president of WCTC - Waukesha County Technical College, detailed many of the innovative projects that happen in the Integrated Manufacturing Center during a tour of the facility.

Our discussion focused on how Marquette University and WCTC can continue working together to prepare students for careers and meet employer needs.
