The D9 Dollar Challenge is officially live and we are ready to make an incredible impact together. This Challenge will run from August 1st to August 31st, 2026. Our collective goal is to raise $1,930, and every single dollar will directly support the Buddy Pack Program. The Buddy Pack program is one of Feeding the Valley’s key initiatives providing nutritious, child‑friendly, ready‑to‑eat meals for children and families facing food insecurity. These meals help ensure children have food over the weekend and support busy households in our community.
Every ONE dollar donated provides SIX meals. If we reach our goal, that’s 11,580 meals going right back into the community we serve. I am confident we can exceed this goal for such a meaningful cause.
I encourage each of you, as representatives, to share the challenge on your personal pages and within your networks. Chapters, please also share it on your social media platforms. The flyer is attached to this email and a sample of the donation page is attached as well so you all can help walk your family and friends through the process.
A couple of important notes:
When sharing, please remind your chapter members, family, and friends to include the organization and chapter they are donating for or in honor of in the comments. This is the only way we can track participation for our friendly competition. Yes, there will be a small prize.
When making a donation, please click “yes” on the processing fee option to ensure that 100% of your intended donation goes directly to the mission.
