Meet Alex, a second year master’s student in the Penn MPGP! Alex is from Malvern, PA and went to Pennsylvania State University to earn his bachelor’s in physics with a minor in math. After completing his master’s at Penn, he plans on pursuing a therapy residency to work as a clinical medical physicist.

Alex’s thesis focuses on creating a model for neurocognitive sparing of brain metastases in patients receiving SRS treatment.

Alex works as a PSQA assistant, chart rounds assistant and is the PSQA coordinator. He is also involved in a clinical project using a Logos XRV device to replace proton beam film star shots in annual QA.

For fun, Alex likes to play sports, listen to music and go hiking.
