Panhellenic Council at Drexel University The Official page for Panhellenic Council at Drexel University. Our chapters are recognized each year with various awards for excellence.

Drexel’s Greek history dates back to 1900, and has always been an important part of the school’s collegiate experience. In 1921, women were able to partake in the Greek experience as well when the first sorority was founded. Currently, Drexel is home to seven National Panhellenic sororities and Panhellenic Association makes up the largest women’s group on the campus. In addition, our governing councils have received honors and recognition for being among the best in the nation.

Phi Sigma Sigma was founded on November 26, 1913, at Hunter College in New York. Our 10 founders came together with a mission to encourage the growth of each sister individually and continue to promote the success of all women. Now, there are over 100 chapters across the nation!

The Beta Rho chapter’s main philanthropy is The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation. Its mission is to cultivate relationships and secure and provide financial resources for Phi Sigma Sigma sisters to achieve excellence, impact their communities, and change the world. It truly allows us to create the world and community we all envision.

To raise money for the foundation, we have hosted numerous fun events during the school year, like sports tournaments, pumpkin painting, and 5Ks!

For the past four years, Phi Sig has also participated as a team in Drexel Dance Marathon, a student-run organization raising money for the Child Life Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

This year, our chapter raised over $10,000 for DDM. And in the past four years, Phi Sig has been recognized as DDM’s “Champions of Change” by raising over $25,000 in the past four years! The past three years, we had the opportunity to be paired with our very own miracle child, Ella! We have had pizza parties, cookie-decorating dates, hibachi dinners, movie nights, and many bounce house races at DDM’s main event this past May, and we cannot wait to participate again this year!

Recruitment is all about finding the right place for you and opening yourself up to new experiences and growth. We can’t wait to meet you all during recruitment this year🩷

Delta Zeta is founded on the values of friendship, belonging, curiosity, generosity, citizenship, and empowerment. At the Epsilon Zeta chapter, we work to uphold these values each and every day. All of our sisters strive to create a positive impact not just on Drexel’s campus, but throughout the Philadelphia community.
Our national philanthropy is Starkey Hearing Foundation, and locally we are proud to support the Philadelphia School for the Deaf through year-round fundraising. From bake sales to our annual Diamond Ball, our sisters contribute more than 2,000 service hours each year!
Recruitment is such an exciting time, and we are so excited to share our sisterhood with you. From founding values to philanthropy, there’s so much to love about Delta Zeta, and we can’t wait to show you more at Night one.

Justice, Sisterhood, and Love are the values that drives each of us. By going greek our sisters know that they are joining a sisterhood full of strong women that will always be there for them. From our founders to every DPhiE across the country, we know our bond only grows stronger, that together we are able to achieve anything!
Our chapter, the Delta Epsilon chapter, at Drexel holds 5 philanthropies near to our hearts. Nationally we fundraise for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, the DPhiE Educational Foundation, and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our largest event of the year is Deepher Dude which not only brings all of greek life, as well as some sports teams together, but also helps us raise over $30,000 for CFF! Locally we support Alex’s Lemonade Stand by selling lemonade and baked goods. Our second local philanthropy is Fitzy’s. Lauren Fitzgerald was a sister of Drexel DPhiE who was diagnosed with brain cancer early in her college career. Her passing was a devastating loss to her friends, family, and sisters. Every year to support research for childhood brain cancer our members attend the Fitzy’s Annual 5k. Our members participate in the Kids Zone, on the track, and cheering on runners. Although none of our current members had the pleasure of knowing Lauren, our value of Love is what continues her legacy.
Founded in 1917 at NYU Law School, Delta Phi Epsilon was started to ensure there was a sorority that would accept all members regardless of race and religion, the first nonsectarian social sorority to do so. Ever since our members have lifted one another up to achieve greatness. We cant wait to share more with you at NOTR and Recruitment.

Hello from Delta Gamma!

Founded in 1873, Delta Gamma sorority is rooted in the values of friendship, educational and cultural interests, social responsibility, and service to others. Our motto, “Do Good,” is more than just words – it is a lifelong mission. With 150 chapters across North America, Delta Gamma strives to unite young women through those values.

One of the cornerstones of Delta Gamma is our dedication to service, especially through our national philanthropy: Service for Sight. Founded by Delta Gammas in the 1930s, Service for Sight supports those who are blind or visually impaired. This initiative was inspired by Ruth Billow, a blind member of the Delta Gamma sorority. To further this cause, our members volunteer their time, raise funds, and advocate for accessibility and inclusion in their communities. By working with local schools and organizations and participating in large-scale fundraisers like Anchor Spike, DGs are committed to making a meaningful impact.

But Delta Gamma is more than just service - it is sisterhood, leadership, and lifelong growth. Our chapter, Eta Upsilon, was established in 2015 and has grown into a vibrant group full of strong women. In addition to service events, we participate in sisterhood and bonding activities, chapter meetings, movie nights, beach trips, and fun nights out!

Hi from Alpha Sigma Alpha!

Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA) was founded on November 15, 1901, in Farmville, VA, at what is now Longwood University. We were founded at Drexel in 1925 (over 100 years ago) and are one of the oldest sororities here on campus!!!

We are an organization built on sisterhood, heritage, leadership, and service. We value our 8 core values: Balance, Generosity, Growth, Integrity, Learning, Relationships, Responsibility, and Enjoyment. Together, these values inspire us to joyously live and make the most of every moment, experience, and relationship.

ASA’s mascot is “Dot,” the ladybug, who is a reminder to “Donate Our Time!” Our chapter, Nu Nu, supports three philanthropies: Girls on the Run, Special Olympics, and the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation. Throughout the year, we host various fundraisers like “Shamrock Shakes,” where we handmake green milkshakes for the Drexel community, as well as a sister-led campus event where several campus organizations and students get to participate.
