Summer internships have many benefits, including gaining professional experience for life after college, broadening your network, and providing real-world examples that further your understanding of what you learn in class.
Justin Matthew, a junior at the Fox School, got the chance to do this while interning for Colgate-Palmolive as a North American Direct Procurer, where he further developed his skills in supply chain management by analyzing data for company leadership and communicating with suppliers across the country.
As Justin highlights, “This internship experience gave me valuable insight into the real-world context for my supply chain coursework, and how critical business analytics directly impact daily operations in a large corporate setting.”
