Congratulations Kira!

For our next Senior Spotlight post, we highlight Kira Daubert! Kira is a Psychology Major and a History Minor.

During her time at Drexel Kira was involved in the Naturally Sharp Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, and University Chorus. After graduation Kira is looking forward to continuing her pre-med studies in a post-baccalaureate program, preparing for medical school, and hopefully still singing!

The Department of Performing Arts would like to officially congratulate all participants and announce the 2025 Drexel University Symphony Orchestra Solo Competition Winners!

On Saturday, January 25th DUSO held their annual solo competition. The winners of the competition are Ryan Rose and Kari Hunte, 'cellist, accompanied by Dane Gentles. They will perform Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for Two 'Cellos in G Major, RV 531 at DUSO's spring term concert.

The group of young musicians gave incredible performances - one work was an original composition written by architecture major and horn soloist Evan Thalheimer!
