Ready for the winter break๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽŠ? Here are some tips on how to reduce waste over this holiday season๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒ!

Just a few things to keep in mind this holiday season!โ™ฅ๏ธ
Of course we all have different access and privilege to be able to do these things, so this list is just a guideline. However, if we all tried to do what we can, even if itโ€™s just ONE thing on this list, we can significantly lower the amount of waste we produce over the holidays. The holiday season should be focused on our love for each other (including our planet), not consumerism. Iโ€™m not saying you shouldnโ€™t buy things, decorate or party, Iโ€™m just saying we should be mindful while doing so! Think about the impact we would have, if we all just did a little?
These are the topics we will be covering over the next while, so be sure to stick around if youโ€™re interested ๐ŸŽ„!!

Low waste gift wrapping ๐ŸŽ
Did you know that most wrapping paper gets thrown into the landfill because itโ€™s not able to be recycle? A lot of wrapping paper is laminated, dyed or contains glitter and other additives which canโ€™t be properly recycled. That goes for bows and ribbons as well. With the holidays being the most wasteful time of year, letโ€™s do what we can to reduce waste wherever we can!
There are tons of ways to wrap your gifts sustainably and budget friendly. Head to our stories to see how we have implemented some of these ideas, or if your interested in some wrapping inspiration!
