On this day, we are invited to come together with one mind and one heart to support the Augustinians and to celebrate our Augustinian values and spirituality upon which our University was founded.

Donations support the care of the elderly and infirm friars living in the monastery on our campus, which is owned and operated by the friars. Tolle Lege Day also supports the education and training of future friars so that Villanova will always have a strong presence of Augustinians on campus.

We had an amazing morning on campus for our Spring Service Event in partnership with The Father Bill Atkinson Service Corps!

We kicked things off with a friendly game of basketball before heading into Vasey Hall for a bagel breakfast and an inspiring introduction to the Fr. Bill Atkinson Service Corps.

Last night, we celebrated the impact and generosity of the donor community at the Villanova University Endowed Scholarship Dinner.

We were proud to recognize this year’s Club of Greater Philadelphia scholarship recipient, Dan Raksnis.

A Philadelphia-area native and senior chemical engineering major, Dan is also an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Engineering PEERs.

Congratulations, Dan, and best of luck as you graduate this spring!

We’ll kick things off on campus at St. Mary’s Gym with a friendly basketball game alongside members of the Service Corps. Whether you’re ready to hit the court or prefer to cheer from the sidelines, everyone is welcome. Following the game, we’ll gather for a light bagel breakfast and an opportunity to connect, share stories, and build community with all participants.

Fr. Bill Atkinson Service Corps' mission is to provide adults with intellectual disabilities the resources, environment and support necessary to live everyday with purpose and joy.
