Read, like, and share this Philadelphia Inquirer coverage of our press conference yesterday. On the year anniversary of our contract agreements we celebrated the wins and highlighted CCP's unmet promises. We want SEPTA passes for ALL students, on-campus childcare, an HVAC system that doesn't freeze or cook our students and members, real and sustainable support for faculty leaders, and so much more. We want full funding from our city and state which has, for decades, failed to fully fund Philly's college. We have a vision of a fully funded and thriving Community College of Philadelphia and we will continue to fight for it.

The college said it has complied with all contract terms. The union is urging the school to provide on-campus childcare and free SEPTA passes for students

Solidarity with Portland Community College workers on strike now.

RAIN OR SHINE, WE HOLD THE LINE!

Our union needs to show Management that support for our strike is GROWING this week! If the numbers on our picket lines INCREASE it will pressure Management to bring a respectful offer to the bargaining table. Here's how you can help classified employees get the fair wages and benefits we deserve:

1) Sign up for picket shifts every day next week - at minimum 4 of the 5 days;

2) CHECK IN when you arrive on campus for your picket shift. These numbers are the most reliable data we have about the strength of our strike;

3) Bring friends, family, neighbors, etc... have all community supporters CHECK IN as well;

4) If you are unable to be there in-person, sign up for a phone banking shift instead. Call your coworkers and ask them to join us on the picket lines.

Until Management provides the fair compensation we deserve, we STRIKE like it's our only job right now! We can do this together and WE WILL WIN! Portland Community College Faculty Federation and Academic Professionals, AFT-Oregon

While Starbucks baristas strike, we strike too — by not shopping at Starbucks.

This fight is about dignity, wages, and ending union busting. When baristas strike, our movement stands with them. Don’t shop at Starbucks. https://seiu.co/NoStarbucks
