In Gratitude & Remembrance… As future healthcare professionals at Drexel University, we understand that our education extends far beyond textbooks and lectures. It is also built upon the extraordinary generosity of individuals who chose to donate their bodies to advance our learning.
These donors made a selfless and profoundly meaningful decision, giving us an invaluable foundation of knowledge that will shape how we serve our communities, with skill, empathy, compassion, and integrity.
Our Gratitude Ceremony provided an opportunity to honor these individuals, express our deepest appreciation, and recognize the lasting legacy they have entrusted to us. We will carry the lessons learned from their gift throughout our careers and into the communities we serve.
Through generous donated funds, a memorial bench was also established at the Drexel Dornsife Center as a lasting tribute to those who gave so much to our education.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration so meaningful and memorable. Their generosity will never be forgotten. 🤍 gratitude

💡Innovation doesn’t have to be high-tech!
Our Pediatric PT II students designed creative low-tech adaptive supports and equipment modifications using everyday materials. Their teamwork, creativity, and clinical reasoning were on full display as they developed practical solutions to support participation and function.
Dr. Heather Brossman and Dr. Megan Schaefer were incredibly impressed with the innovative ideas and thoughtful designs. Great work, everyone! 👏🩷
