Looking to get active and meet fellow grad bioengineers? Sign up for Intramural Ultimate frisbee! The IM ultimate season is Dec 2 - Dec 9. Registration opens Nov 18th. Ultimate games are played either on Franklin Field or at the Penn Park sports complex. Specific dates/times are not announced until registration closes. If you register and realize you can't make some games, don't worry! We will build in extra players for the team so that we can be confident we will have at least 6 people at every game.

This is a fantastic opportunity for networking! We encourage students interested in non-academic career paths or those eager to learn more about diverse opportunities to attend this insightful event designed just for you.

Via the LGBT Center at Penn Penn LGBT Center:

The “I Am” Collective is an online storytelling platform organized by a group of Penn students dedicated to showcasing the diversity of social identities that exist within Penn and the broader Philadelphia community. We are collecting stories (in any shape/form) that reflect the vast identities and experiences of real people on campus and across the city of Philadelphia. By reflecting on our identities and stories, the “I Am” Collective empowers those who may not see or have seen themselves as capable of being a part of a larger movement and community of unapologetic change-makers. We hope that these expressions of self will encourage our community members to interact with perspectives and experiences that are beyond their own.

We will curate a collection of these works in our online library and the hope is to host an annual gallery/showcase in the future. Please let us know if you would be willing to share this project with your communities.
