The final meeting will be this Tuesday, April 29 during Free Period. Room is TBA. We will also be holding elections for the Executive Board for next year. The two positions available to run for are:
Vice President of Social Media
-Create more awareness and involvement with Twitter and Facebook accounts
-Create Instagram page for SJU sporting events, member submissions, club and volunteer events
-Generate interest in Blog (for sports journalists or sports writers)
-Think if contests for members to encourage participation and involvement

Vice President of Fundraising
-Coming up with new/creative ideas to raise money
-Taking advantage of our connections with the Athletic Department and the sporting events on campus
-Coordinating all fundraising events
-Match or exceed fundraising goal of 5 events or $1,000 per semester

We are hoping to attract active members in the club who hope to further their involvement and be a part of creating a legacy for the Sports Marketing Program at St Joe's. If you are interested in running for either of these positions, please email the club with: your name, class year, and your planned extra curricular involvement on campus for next year.

Viewing party for the SJU vs UCONN game this Thursday at 6:30 in the Perch! Come for some free food, raffles and to cheer on our Hawks!

Raffle prizes include: A SJU Throwback Jersey, 2 vouchers for free season tickets for next season and 4 tickets to the Sweet Sixteen game at MSG if the Hawks make it!

April 18th, Time and Location TBA – Club trip to New York. Details are being worked out. We will be sure to release information as soon as possible. You must be an active member of the SMC to be allowed to register for this trip, we will determine this by attendance at club meetings/events. Only a small number of members will be able to go due to size restrictions at the locations we plan to visit. It will be first come first serve once final information is released.
