🏃🏾‍♂️🩺 Theta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated was honored to participate in the African American Men’s Wellness Day at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA!

With over 1,000 participants in the 5K, the energy, community spirit, and commitment to health and wellness were truly inspiring. 💚💛

Our dedicated nurses assisted in screening nearly 500 individuals throughout the event. In partnership with The Epiphany Project, we also helped advance kidney health awareness and early detection efforts:

✅ 28 participants provided urine samples for kidney screening
✅ 8 participants completed genetic testing to screen for chronic and rare kidney disease
We are proud to serve our community through education, prevention, and compassionate care. Together, we continue to make an impact—one screening, one conversation, and one life at a time.

Theta Chapter, Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.®️ had an incredible weekend of service, sisterhood, and impact! 💚💛

From promoting wellness to uplifting our community, our members showed up and showed out:

✨ Heart & Soul Community Resource Fair
We provided blood pressure and BMI screenings, along with education on heart health and how to read nutrition labels—empowering our community to make healthier choices every day.

🏃🏽‍♀️ Girls on the Run 5K
Partnering alongside NCNW, we volunteered at the registration table and proudly served as run buddies, encouraging and supporting elementary school girls as they crossed the finish line strong! 💪🏽🎉

🍽️ Meal Assembly Initiative
Together, we packaged 336 meals for elderly community members, helping ensure access to nutritious food and reminding them they are cared for. 🤲🏽

💛 NAMI Mental Health Awareness Effort with TWIGS
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we created heartfelt, handwritten notes to uplift and inspire individuals receiving mental health services—spreading hope, one message at a time. 📝✨

This weekend was a true reflection of our commitment to service, education, and community engagement. We are proud to continue making a difference—one act of care at a time.

A beautiful day of service for the mind, body, and soul as we celebrated nursing, sisterhood, and faith together.

Theta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.®️ was proud to participate in the Spring into Wellness Health Fair at Sayre High School in Philadelphia!

Thank you to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Omega Omega Chapter for sponsoring this impactful community event focused on health, wellness, and education.

Our nurses had the opportunity to teach Hands-Only CPR and empower community members with lifesaving skills. We were especially excited to meet the amazing young ladies pictured, who already knew the importance of calling for help and using an AED! The future is bright when our youth are prepared to save lives. 💚🩺💛
