👻 First Halloween Experience in the U.S.!*🇺🇸
As an exchange student, experiencing the fall semester in the U.S. is a must—and one big reason is Halloween! Unlike in Korea, Halloween is a huge deal here, and everyone goes all out with costumes. I was super excited because it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 😆
As October went on, the city slowly transformed with pumpkins 🎃 and spooky decorations everywhere! Cute pumpkins in front of houses, pumpkin-themed treats at stores, everything was so festive.
I had never worn a costume for Halloween before, so this was my first real Halloween.
On the night of October 31st, everyone wandered around Philadelphia in creative and fun costumes, and it was such an amazing sight! Taking pictures with others in costumes was so much fun 📸✨
I wanted to try trick-or-treating, but it’s mostly for kids 😅.
Another highlight: you can also visit the haunted house at Philadelphia Eastern State Penitentiary! I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, so it was a little scary 😱, but still really fun.
Experiencing Halloween in the U.S. exceeded my expectations! 👻
