The AzCEP EM Research Seed Grant awards $1,000 to Arizona resident, fellow, and medical student members pursuing original emergency-medicine research, working with a mentoring attending. Past awardees have gone from case series to peer-reviewed publications and national podium presentations.

Banner – UMC Tucson’s Emergency Department has earned a Bronze-level Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation from ACEP. We're pleased to share that AzCEP Board member, Bradley Dreifuss, MD, FACEP, and AzCEP member J. Scott Lowry, MD, FACEP, were a part of this effort to bring this designation to their hospital.

The U of A has been approved for $30.6 million to support research conducted as part of a large public health initiative to implement and evaluate prehospital blood transfusion.
