Last week, Peralta found himself in the middle of a dream come true when he announced the FIFA World Cup match between England and Mexico for more than 80,000 fans at Estadio Banorte in Mexico City.

The Howard Center for Investigative Journalism has published Lives in the Balance: Immigration in a Divided America, a national collaborative reporting project examining the U.S. immigration system.

About 100 student journalists from six universities produced the report through a collaboration among journalism programs participating in the Carnegie-Knight Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education.

During their week in Mexico City with ASU Global Education, our students learned from industry leaders at ESPN Mexico, Twitch and Cruz Azul FC while experiencing the excitement of the World Cup firsthand through Fan Fest, the Coca-Cola Trophy Tour and other immersive experiences.
