College Grads Losing Their Edge?

A January article in the Washington Post highlighted an interesting shift in the labor market. For the first time in 50 years, workers with a bachelor’s degree or higher didn’t have an edge in employment. In the last half of 2025, the unemployment gap flipped, and trade workers with occupational associate degrees had better employment prospects. The last time this was true was back in the 1990s.

What Can You Learn in an HVAC Training Program?

In our HVAC 306 course, Basic Electricity, our students learn about electricity, electrical circuits, and the electrical components of HVAC systems. Students use Ohm’s law to calculate current, voltage, and resistance; use the power formula to calculate how much power is consumed by a circuit; and understand how to use a multimeter and ammeter.
