MPACE Celebrates Pride Month: Cultivating Inclusive Career Pathways

As we celebrate Pride Month this June, it is a vital time for career services professionals and employer partners to reflect on our shared commitment to fostering inclusive environments. Pride Month commemorates the history of LGBTQ+ activism—rooted in the Stonewall Uprising—and celebrates the diverse identities that enrich our campuses and workplaces.

For career services and recruiters, this month is a call to action: to ensure that LGBTQ+ students and professionals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate the transition from classroom to career. By prioritizing equity and belonging, we not only help individuals thrive but also strengthen the workforce with diverse perspectives and talent.
