In a new in-depth interview with the Pine Bluff Commercial, Chancellor Anthony Graham and Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation Dr. Trina Fletcher share how UAPB’s Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (CAIDA) will help transform the institution and the region.

“If I’m an employer, and I’m looking at a student’s background, if I see that a student has five stackable credentials — AI, data sciences, so on and so forth — that student becomes more attractive for me as an employer than if I just had a four-year degree. Do I know you have certain skills? Have you mastered certain competencies,”Chancellor Graham said.

The conversation explores how UAPB is preparing students with stackable credentials and workforce-ready skills, supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs, helping farmers leverage emerging technologies, and positioning the university as a driver of research and innovation across Southeast Arkansas.
