What a day at the Creek! Our campus was full of energy yesterday, with Preview Day and a special chapel service.

We welcomed guest speaker Dr. Dwayne Norman of the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC), who presented a $76,500 check for the Fall . Several of the students pictured are recipients of this incredible scholarship, along with many other on-campus and online students! We are grateful for KBC's continued investment in students preparing for ministry!

We also loved connecting with guests from Porter Memorial Baptist Church, alumni from the '70s and '90s, and some of our online students who joined us on campus! The day reminded us what makes the Clear Creek family so special.

Chapel services are a mainstay at Clear Creek. We strive to provide our students with spiritually relevant preaching. We have been privileged to hear from such biblical preachers as Dr. Todd Gray, Dr. Paul Chitwood, Dr. Norman Geisler, Clear Creek staff and faculty, and various other Kentucky Baptist Convention pastors. This is why chapel attendance is required for all students — even those who attend online.

Students play an integral role in chapel, beyond attendance. Our senior students are given the opportunity to preach as a culmination of their studies. Other students participate by leading worship, singing solos, playing instruments, or participating in the Clear Creek Singers.

As part of our chapel program, we host two endowed lecture series. The Barry Lectures are focused on enhancing the preaching content and style of our students. The Lacy-Lykins lecture series is focused on the marriage relationship.

Lots of fun at the campus-wide Faculty/Staff vs Students volleyball game hosted by Student Life. The student team inked out a win!
