It’s Founders’ Month!

This November, we’re celebrating 104 years of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. through Faith, Hope and Love: The Foundations of Our Sisterhood!

Join us for 30 Days of Sigma, a monthlong celebration honoring our history, uplifting our sisterhood, and showcasing the Greater Women and Greater World we continue to build.

Each week, we’ll introduce a new theme and daily opportunities to celebrate, reflect, and connect.

Greater Moves for a Greater Cause! 💙💛

Thank you to everyone who joined Team Faith Over Fear for an afternoon of Zumba, line dancing, and fellowship as we continue raising awareness and supporting the fight against breast cancer.

We moved with purpose, danced for awareness, and came together for a cause that matters! 💕

A special thank you to Shelby County NPHC, Beta Mu Nu, and our very own Soror Eryn Wells for helping facilitate an amazing event!

LHS sisters stepped out in full force for the Light the Night walk. We joined our community to show that we are “united with survivors, united for support, and united for more life”. We light the night for our survivor, Soror Tara L Walton. We love you and stand with you always! 💙💛

📩 October 29 – Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot in person

📍 November 2 – Deadline to hand-deliver absentee ballots

🇺🇸 November 3 – GENERAL ELECTION DAY! Polls open 7 AM–7 PM.

Don’t wait until Election Day to make your plan! Check your registration, research your ballot, grab your valid photo ID, and encourage someone else to do the same!

This October, the Lambda Eta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is walking with purpose in support of breast cancer awareness, research, and the fight for a cure 💕

Our “Faith Over Fear” team honors the beautiful legacy of our departed Charter Member, Soror Faith Mixon, while also celebrating the strength and resilience of breast cancer survivor Soror Alexis Cade. 💕 Their stories remind us why this fight is deeply personal and why we continue to stand together.

Join Team Faith Over Fear for the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Virtual Walk on Saturday, October 24, from 10–11 AM. Whether you walk with us, make a donation, or simply help spread the word, every step and every dollar makes a difference.
