The Upper Valley Career Center, previously known as UVJVS, opened during the summer of 1975 with career tech training for adult learners. Our workforce development training and services are customizable for business and industry and full time programs are financial aid eligible for those who qualify. A huge thank you to Nathan Pence and Lochard HVAC, Plumbing and Service for their generous donation to our Adult Education HVAC/R program. Their contribution of two 916SA Multipoise Condensing Gas Furnaces, valued at $3,000, will help provide our students with hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment.

This donation supports the continued growth of our high-demand HVAC program, ensuring students have access to the tools and resources needed to build real-world skills while helping us meet the needs of both our students and our community partners.

The 916SA Multipoise Condensing Gas Furnace features the single-stage Legacy™ System and a fixed-speed, constant torque ECM blower motor, giving students the opportunity to train on equipment designed for electrical efficiency and modern industry standards.

In celebration of International Nurses Day, we’re recognizing the many pathways into healthcare and the opportunities available through Upper Valley Career Center for learners at every stage of their journey.

Whether students are just beginning to explore the healthcare field or advancing their professional careers, UVCC offers programs designed to build knowledge, confidence and hands-on experience every step of the way.

Our Medical Careers Academy gives high school students a strong foundation in healthcare basics, preparing them for a variety of postsecondary pathways. Through UVCC Adult Education, students can continue their journey with our CNA, Practical Nursing and LPN to RN programs, gaining the skills needed to grow and succeed in this essential field.

Today, we celebrate the dedication, compassion and impact of nurses everywhere, and we’re proud to help prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals. 💙🩺
