The Upper Valley Career Center, previously known as UVJVS, opened during the summer of 1975 with career tech training for adult learners. Our workforce development training and services are customizable for business and industry and full time programs are financial aid eligible for those who qualify. Whether you are interested in a non-traditional career or mainstream employment, our counselor and training consultants can assist.

Students in UVCC Adult Education's Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Program train on two large walk-in freezers right here on-campus. Working with industry-standard refrigeration systems helps students build the skills and confidence needed for success in the field!

Today is ! 📝

We're spotlighting a few students from our Adult Education Welding, Fabrication & Allied Processes Program, a ready-to-work program that prepares students for industry-recognized AWS certifications and careers in the welding industry.

Pictured are Josh Myers, Jason Dunn, and Christopher Wooddell, each gaining valuable hands-on experience while working in the field.

🔹 Josh works for KARD Welding and is training on metal-cored welding, a process commonly used in heavy fabrication projects.

🔹 Jason works for Tri-State Fertilizer Equipment and is training on MIG welding steel tubing.

🔹 Christopher works for United Alloy and has been trained in Pulsed MIG welding, a process that helps improve precision and weld quality.

Through classroom instruction, hands-on training, and industry certifications, these students are building the skills employers need and launching successful careers in welding.
