What happens when high school students get the opportunity to experience engineering firsthand? They learn, create, collaborate and have fun along the way. 💡

This summer, students in Rutgers Engineering’s high school programs got a taste of life as an engineer through hands-on activities, interactive learning and opportunities to explore campus.

We loved having these future engineers on campus this summer and seeing their curiosity in action! ❤️

Last Thursday, Rutgers Engineering took us out to the ballgame! ⚾️

It was a wonderful evening filled with the Somerset Patriots, family, and the Rutgers Engineering community. Professor Adam Gormley made the night extra special by throwing out the first pitch. Cheered on by his family in the stands and, even better, joined on the mound by one of his sons! ❤️

Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable night!

This summer, three Rutgers Engineers in Action students helped complete the Tintfutfwini pedestrian bridge project in Eswatini. This was the first bridge in the African country to cross a permanent river, eliminating a 45-minute journey that community members previously had to take to travel between both sides.

The bridge serves more than 2,500 community members and marks a major milestone as the 40th pedestrian footbridge completed by Engineers in Action in Eswatini. Through this hands-on engineering experience, Rutgers students Karoline, Jack, and Carlo worked alongside community members and local partners to help build infrastructure that will make a lasting difference.

Support future Rutgers Engineers in Action students as they continue working on projects that create meaningful impact around the world. 🌍
