Earlier this summer, four represented at the Big Ten Conference Big Life Series: Pacific Northwest.

Campbell Earley (Rutgers Gymnastics ), Naomi Karki (Rutgers Tennis), Stephanie Kraska (Rutgers Softball) and Marco Wimmershoff (Rutgers Men's Lacrosse) joined more than 175 student-athletes and administrators from all 18 Big Ten institutions for an immersive experience exploring the history, cultures, and communities of the Pacific Northwest. From visiting the Grand Ronde reservation and Oregon Historical Society to experiencing the Multnomah Falls, the group gained valuable perspectives that will help them lead and create positive change on campus and beyond.

Scarlet Knight Faith Blackstone from Rutgers Women's Basketball was nominated and selected to represent at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum this past May in Indianapolis, joining nearly 200 student-athletes from across the country to explore careers in the sports industry.

Throughout the multi-day experience, attendees participated in keynote sessions, industry panels, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities to gain an understanding of athletics as a career path.

Rutgers student-athletes from Rutgers Women's Basketball, Rutgers Women's Lacrosse, Rutgers Swimming & Diving, Rutgers Men's Basketball, and Rutgers Football attended the Big Ten Conference Student-Athlete Leadership Retreat, where they participated in leadership workshops, team-building activities, community engagement, and networking opportunities with alumni. The experience provided opportunities to strengthen their leadership, communication, and personal growth amongst their Big Ten peers.

This June, in celebration of PRIDE month, two student-athletes from the Rutgers Swimming & Diving and Rutgers Track & Field teams attended the 6th Annual Athlete Ally Activism Summit in the Poconos, PA, connecting with student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from across the nation. Through workshops, discussions, and community-building experiences, they gained valuable insights and tools to help foster inclusion, allyship, and belonging on campus. 🏳️‍🌈
