Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) members wrapped up an incredible year at our interactive dining etiquette “workshop — building confidence, making connections, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Huge thanks to our supporters, dedicated staff, and administrators who helped make the night so special at The Rutgers Club!

Still smiling from an incredible experience at the ESPNW Summit in NYC last week. Huge thank you to espnW for creating such an empowering space filled with inspiration and connection.

So grateful that two of our Scarlet Knights For Life team members had the opportunity to bring seven amazing female student-athletes to experience it all together. From hearing inspiring stories from Sarah Spain, Breanna Stewart, Rosalyn Durant and many more to attending sessions focused on leadership, confidence, and advocacy, it was an unforgettable day celebrating women in sports. ❤️

We remember Arthur “Art” Raynes, the visionary founder of Saturdays in Motion, whose passion for inclusion, movement, and community impacted countless lives for more than 30 years. Art’s dedication, kindness, and energy built a legacy that continues to inspire us all.

Rutgers Athletics is proud to have played a small part in carrying his mission forward through our involvement with Saturdays in Motion. student-athletes show up to support, encourage, and create meaningful experiences alongside the wonderful children and families of the Greater Somerset County YMCA.

This past April, we were grateful to accept the 2026 Greater Somerset County YMCA Group Spirit Award on behalf of all the hashtag who have generously given their time and hearts to Saturdays in Motion for more than two decades.

Thank you to the Somerset Hills YMCA for this incredible honor and thank you to Art and his wonderful family, for creating such a special program for all involved.
